When I picked up a camera for the first time I was in college. I learned to use film, be patient, and chooose the images that I decided to photograph. I remember watching images slowly appear in the developing solution in awe of the moments stopped in time.

The next time I picked up a camera I was a mom looking to snap moments of little feet, sweet smiles and big moments! Once I started taking photos all I wanted to do was documents life and take photos that were beautiful. Enter the idea of being a photographer. It started down the path so quickly from there. From teacher to wedding photographer in what felt like a blink looking back on it.  

While it’s been a winding road to this profession what I can say is it all really makes sense! It fits with my younger self who always had a camera on her (before they were always on a phone). It fits with wanting to document my life and share my legacy with each snap of the mundane. It fits with my adoration for love and story and most of all the combination of the two!
