A small wedding at Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool will always be a joy to capture. Allana and Tim’s wedding was no exception. I’m so happy to share their sweet day!
Allana wanted to prioritize an intimate day with the people her and Tim loved the most! After she completed her wedding day questionnaire, I was able to create a timeline that prioritized taking photos of all the parts of her day that she cared about capturing. I so appreciate when my couples share what matters most to them on their wedding day so that I can create thoughtful custom timelines that focuses on their wedding priorities!
We started the afternoon at Nobu in the West Loop. It has such a beautiful organic style that really matched the vibe they were looking for on their wedding day. I absolutely love the big windows available in the suite because it’s filled with beautiful natural light! I was able to capture the finishing preparations for each of them because they were both at the same hotel. Once they were ready to head to their ceremony. We made sure to capture their first look before we all hopped into the limo! We did a quick first moments together right in the lobby of the Nobu.
Their ceremony was at Alfred Caldwell Lily pool. This venue feels like a world all of its own. Once you’re in the are by the pond, you can barely tell that you’re surrounded by the city. All the lush green trees offer such a beautiful backdrop for their ceremony. Alana and Tim said I do among the greenery and those closest to them! Their officiant with Liz Rae & Co did a wonderful job of weaving their story into their ceremony. It was a beautiful reflection of them!
When the ceremony was done, we were able to quickly capture the family photos they wanted! Then we took their wedding portraits. Once we were done, they headed to an evening dinner with their family. It was such a lovely intimate celebration, and I was grateful to be a part of it. I hope you enjoy their beautiful day!
