Loves I’m so excited to share Natalie and Jim’s Elmhurst College wedding photos. When Jim to the mic to speak about his love for Natalie there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. The love they share and the respect he holds for his wife was evident in every word. Don’t we all want our loved ones to feel like we make them a better human. Furthermore, the adoring way Natalie looked at Jim during his speech spoke to my heart! These are the moments that I’m so grateful I get to photograph weddings!
First, we started the day at the Hilton Oak Brook Resort. It’s a dreamy place to get ready because there’s so much beautiful natural light streaming in through their suite’s windows! It’s exactly what you want to have gorgeous well lit getting ready photos. The sweet moments with the girls, and the fun moments with the guys were captured before the ceremony. Next we headed off to Elmhurst College for the wedding ceremony. They had their ceremony at Irion Hall and said I do on the stage as their guests watched!
Once their ceremony started, it focused on their love, their story, and their why! It was beautiful to get to photograph the joy emanating from them both. Natalie’s smile never left her face once she was walking down the aisle! Real beauty is getting to see love so evidently placed in someone’s smile.
In addition to having their ceremony at the college we also captured their bridal party and wedding photos at the college. After that, we headed off to the 151 Kitchen for their reception. From the beautiful white florals to the amazing sweets table there was so much to enjoy from their day! Their family and friends shared in the joy with their words, and their dancing!
I’m so grateful to have been a part of it! Above all, I’m so happy I get to share their wedding!
