Intimate Boxed and Burlap Wedding Photos

I had the honor of capturing Amy and Jared’s intimate Boxed and Burlap Wedding photos in Lake Geneva! They are the sweetest couple, and I love photographing when they interact together! They really know how to make each other smile. It was so lovely to be able to photograph their wedding as I had photographed her sister’s wedding also! Amy and Jared also had her sister Eileen and her wife Susan stand up in their wedding so it was amazing to see everyone again!

We started the day in the bridal suite at Boxed and Burlap.I captured some of Amy getting ready with the help of her mom and some of her lovely details that she included for her wedding day. Then I was able to head to the cafe to take some photos of Jared before the first first look.

As we walked over to the first look location I could see the apprehension and anticipation on Jared’s face, but as soon as he held Amy you could see the calm sweep over him. We took the wedding photos right after the first look and then they were able to relax prior the ceremony.

Amy and Jared had the best summer outdoor ceremony set among the greenery at Boxed and Burlap! Even with a little summer warmth it was such a joy to watch them say I do! They decided to write their own vows and I loved hearing how much they cared for each other, supported one another, and wanted the best for not only each other but their relationship as well. Once the ceremony was done they enjoyed time with friends and family for cocktails.

Eileen and Susan brought all the laughs for their speeches! Amy and Jared’s exuberant laughter showed through so much! One of my favorite moments was Amy and her father dancing.
