On the day that Melina and Paul got married I remember driving to the Libertyville Double Tree thinking what a gorgeous day it is to get married! I am a little partial because I think every day is a beautiful day to commit your heart to someone, but this day really was stunning! The sunlight was shining every where and there were soft beautiful clouds in the sky. The weather was perfect.
I had the pleasure of second shooting the wedding with Christine of Dabble Me This. Melina and Paul’s wedding was so easily planned with both of them getting ready at the Double Tree where the reception was being held. The ceremony was at the beautifully ornate St Peter’s Church. After the ceremony we traveled to a beautiful park to take bridal portraits and the day stayed true. The light was beautiful.
Their love for each other and their family and friends was just so evident throughout the day. It was wonderful to get to capture how they shared their love, their story and their hearts. I’m so glad I was able to be a part of their day.
