It was such an honor to capture Krista and Billy’s sunrise North Avenue Beach and Lincoln Park engagement photos. Engagement sessions are such a magical time to capture a couple. It’s only a short time in your overall relationship and I think it’s incredibly special to photograph this time in your life! Krista and Billy chose their locations because they loved the variety and the Chicago skyline is just so stunning from North Avenue!
North Avenue Beach
We met on a beautiful warm morning in Chicago. We started our time together at North Avenue Beach. Sunrise is one of the most beautiful times of day and the light as it comes across Lake Michigan is stunning. It was amazing to start our morning with the Chicago skyline as the backdrop for their session!
Krista and Billy are such an amazing couple to photograph! The way Billy is always able to get Krista laugh is wonderful to see! Capturing moments as they walked along the path next to the skyline were some of my favorites, but I love the ones along the beach almost as much! They really balance each other so well!!
Lincoln Park
After we captured the moments of them at North Avenue we walked over to the Lincoln Park area and we were able to get some lovely greenery as a backdrop. It’s really nice to have variety in your engagement photos so you have plenty of options for your photos! I adore photos of couples cuddling together and getting cozy. Some of the best moments were Billy and Krista snuggled close together! Connection is very powerful and getting to see two people so insync is amazing to photograph.
