Taking Kelly and Mark’s summer Grant Park engagement photos was so amazing! It was a beautiful day and even with the Taste of Chicago, we felt like the park was our own!
Kelly never thought she would get married as she was already a single parent with an amazing daughter. Life felt pretty set for her, but then it changed. Mark entered their life, and Kelly’s world changed.
They met online as so many of my couples do now, and when they went on their first date the sparks flew. They fit together so well. Mark met her daughter and their family was meant to be.
It was fantastic being able to capture their engagement session this summer and stroll through one of my favorite parks in the city. We met just a couple hours before sunset in Grant Park formal gardens. It’s such a pretty spot with a peek-a-boo view of the city and pretty lush greens in the garden.
I loved how Kelly’s pink dress popped against the white stones and the canopy of green of the tress.
