Save the Dates
One of the most common reasons people want their engagement photos done early is for their save the dates. Your engagement session can set the tone for your whole wedding. Save the dates get your guests excited about your upcoming wedding, and it lets them put the date in their calendar so they’re prepared ahead of time. You can send a postcard or a card or a digital card with different photos of the two of you on it.
Start Your Instagram Hashtag
A unique way to start using photos from your session is to use your engagement photos to post with your new wedding hashtag. Hashtags are a great way to see photos related to your wedding throughout the whole day and all the events leading up to it. If you post using your tag ahead of time more people will know about it on your actual day!
Guest Books
Another great way to use your engagement photos is to create a guest book. You can have some of the lovely photos of you and your love in an album with plenty of white space for your guests to sign. This way they can write messages next to photos you love!
Create Albums & Wall Art
Your engagement is a very unique time in your life. Having it documented for always is quite special, which is why I suggest my couples have engagement photos done. A wonderful way to be able to continue to remember this time in your life is to have them physically present in your life. Create an album you can look at or pick a few favorites and get some wall art.

Many of my couples to choose to create a wedding website to share all the information about their day with their guests. A great way to showcase your relationship is by using photos. Also, websites always look better with pictures on them ;)
