I loved getting to capture Ashley and Luis’ Lincoln Park engagement photos! For their session, they chose to spend time in the gardens near the Lincoln Park Zoo as well as at North Avenue Beach! We started our time at the Honey Comb. We strolled through the garden area and took some sweet moments with their pup! I absolutely loved that they included their sweet dog in their session too! The Honey Comb has such a beautiful view of the city and lovely greenery all around! Ashley wore a great red dress that really popped against the gardens!
Ashley and Luis met online like most couples do now, but they feel so close they feel like they’ve always known each other. They have such a beautiful ease with one another! Once they got engaged they decided to take their time with planning and enjoy their time together before they were married! It was so wonderful to get to see them together before their wedding day!
Once we were done in the gardens we headed over to North Avenue Beach. This location has such a fantastic view of the city and is the spot couples ask to be photographed most! The skyline view is just stunning and it’s so close! As we continued to take their photos clouds surrounded the skyline creating such an interesting view of the skyline. Both Ashley and Luis changed to stunning evening outfits and we captured some beautiful portraits of them together as well as some candid moments along the water! The way the sky changed during their session in such a short time was really lovely to watch and capture!
