Sarah and Josh had a beautiful sunset North Avenue Beach Engagement photos! Seeing one of my sessions at North Avenue is actually how they found me! Sarah really loved the views from this location in Chicago and knew she wanted engagement photos there. It also happens to be one of the most requested locations I get photograph engagements!
It was so fun to walk around this beautiful spot in the city! The skyline at this location never disappoints! Sarah and Josh met in Chicago when they were both doing consultant work, and wanted to get married in the city where they met. They now live in Washington DC with their adorable cats. It made the session all the sweeter being able to visit a city they love! It’s always a great idea to choose locations that have meaning for you! I think it helps you feel more comfortable during your engagement session and adds to the fun!
We met on a beautiful summer day while they were in town finishing up plans for their lovely wedding! We spent time walking along North Avenue Beach and capturing sweet moments between them and taking some portraits. I loved hearing about their plans for their wedding and how they chose Chicago because that’s where their lives started together! It was a perfect day filled with beautiful light! I really loved Sarah’s flowy pink dress and the outfit switched to the comfy casual outfits! I always share with couples that dressing up looks amazing in photos, but when it really comes down to it I think couples should choose outfits they love the most!!
