Loft Lucia Wedding Photos

On a lovely warm summer day in Chicago, I got to capture Sarah and Josh’s Loft Lucia wedding photos. It was really important to both of them that the day felt true to them and authentically represented their relationship! This is exactly why they chose to get married in Chicago! Loft Lucia

Loft Lucia sits at the heart of the city with a beautiful rooftop area for ceremonies and cocktail. Sarah and Josh got married outdoors with beautiful florals around them. Sarah’s sister stood by her, and Josh’s childhood best friend stood with him. They were married by Sarah’s closest friend. With an intimate bridal party they knew they had only people who cared deeply about them and their relationship standing up with them. Let me tell you when their attendants gave their speeches later in the night they took us from sweet tears, to big laughter. It was really wonderful to hear people who knew them both so well!

I really loved the early fall color palette from the deep maroon to the classic Navy. Their design was impeccable! Some fun and beautiful touches they added were the custom designed sign for their signature drinks that included their two cats, as well as a lovely memory wall! I loved how thoughtful they were in planning every part of their wedding day, from the small details to the big pieces. They even had their reception dinner catered from their favorite restaurant from when they lived in Chicago. It really felt like a wedding day crafted on their love!
