Oh friends let me tell you all about Miranda & Max’s Olive Park Chicago Wedding. It was just such a gorgeous stunning day! I mean who wouldn’t swoon over an outdoor ceremony right on Lake Michigan?! Their beautiful outdoor ceremony and reception are the moments dance along in dreams.
South Pond Bridge
We started the day at the iconic Honey Comb in Lincoln Park. This sweet spot in the city with peek of the skyline will always have a piece of my heart! As the sun shone bright at the beautiful south pond bridge Miranda walked slowly up to meet her dad for the day. The look in his eyes upon seeing his little girl all grown up would make anyone’s heart melt.
I’m just grateful all the tears that welled up in my eyes didn’t prevent me from capturing this sweet moment! The love in that moment is exactly what wedding days are for, and why I think first looks with your dad are just so magical.
First Look at the Honey Comb
Miranda made a point of seeing each of the special men in her life before she said I Do. After seeing her father we made our way to the Honey Comb so she could see Max for one of their last moments before I do and becoming Mr. & Mrs. The love and joy in his eyes once he finally saw her is why first looks are the best!
We were able to capture some special moments of them together before we headed to Olive Park.
Olive Park Wedding Ceremony
Their sweet wedding ceremony was filled with details that felt perfectly them! From the joining of the cocktail ceremony to the intimate location of all their closest friends gathered together to celebrate their love and commitment. It was exactly what their day should have been.
Once the ceremony was over Miranda surprised Max with a pedicab ride to the place where it all started (Pour House is where they met) They exchanged sweet vows just for them.
Las Fuentes Reception
They ended the gorgeous day with an amazing reception at Las Fuentes where all the party and celebration could begin. The gorgeous balloon installation from Paris312 was such a unique addition to their head table. They toasted their guests with tequila shots, sang and laughed through their cake cutting, and smiled and laughed through all the dancing!
I truly loved getting to be a part of their unique beautiful celebration and capturing all their amazing love!
Hope you enjoy them too!
