Winter Wedding Styled Shoot :: Chicago Wedding Photographer

I’m so excited to share the latest romantic winter wedding styled shoot. I created this beauty with the Photography Stylistas.

I dreamed up this idea of making a styled shoot that showcased the beauty of a winter wedding. The group of photographers and creatives I worked with (the Photography Stylistas) were just as excited as I was to create this dreamy shoot.

Collaboration has always been something I value. I think artistic endeavors are magnified when people come together to create and our group totally delivered with this shoot!

How We Did It

We started with just ideas for what make a beautiful winter shoot. The gorgeous color marsala, rustic touches, and elegant refinements of flowers and lace inspired the shoot. The way it all came together blew me away! I’m so grateful for all the work done by the amazing vendors we collaborated with.

Laura Ahern of Accent on Events styled and designed the setting. Brique by Boutique Bites, a new venue in downtown Chicago, opened up their space so we could create this fab shoot. The light in this space is just dreamy. The clean look of the white walls, the urban feel of the brick walls, and the addition of the copper cookware on the built-in shelves added to the overall ambiance of the shoot. I loved every moment of shooting there! Boutique Bites also created the signature drinks, the dinner, and the adorable hot chocolate bar.

The amazing “naked cake” featured in the shoot was provided by Alliance Bakery. Their design was simple and elegant and accented perfectly by the florals provided by Oliver Dogwood Floral Co. I simply died over their gorgeous flower arrangements. The way the entire styled concept came together made me want to marry my husband all over again and brave a Chicago winter wedding!
