 Planning a Sequel Wedding

So we’ve talked about different kinds of smaller weddings, but have you thought about planning a sequel wedding?  

Many couples are reimaging how they want to celebrate their wedding day now that plans aren’t happening exactly the way they thought.  

What is a Sequel Wedding?

A sequel wedding is exactly what it sounds like.  It’s a second wedding after your original wedding day!  Maybe you’re deciding to elope, have a micro wedding, or a minimony.  This might not have been your original plan all along, but now you can plan to have a second celebration when we’re able to open!  

Why You Should Go For It

If you hate the idea of not having everyone you love and care about at your celebration a sequel wedding can a great way to still get to celebrate with those you love when it’s a lot safer.  

What’s great about this is you can still have a smaller wedding for the date you always wanted!  Then you can follow it with a big party when we’re all able to party together again!

How to Plan Your Sequel Wedding

Be Flexible

If I were planning I would be more flexible with the date for that wedding.  I would make sure to give space and time to make certain you won’t need to postpone or make changes to that date!

Decide

You’ll need to make some decisions about what you want to include in the day.  Will you have a vow renewal?  A first dance?  How about speeches?  You’ll need to take some time to decide what you really want to include in this day!  Maybe there are things that you did in your smaller ceremony that you want to share in second day.  

Make it A Party

I think one of the great things about having already done the first ceremony is you can focus this date completely on having fun and enjoying your time with
