I’m so excited to share Katie and Nick’s elegant home garden minimony! They made the difficult choice to cancel their more elaborate wedding for the fall. Then pulled together to quickly plan this more intimate wedding. It was evident that a ton of love and thought went into creating a day they’ll lovingly remember as the day they said I Do with the family closest to them present!
I started the day with Katie as she got ready for the wedding with her mom and closest friend. She chose to wear her mom’s wedding dress because it was the perfect choice for their more simple elegant wedding.
The garden was beautifully set up with an arbor flowing with florals. The greens and bright purples, and pinks added to the lovely ambiance. Their intimate setting was the perfect backdrop for their day. From the speeches that spoke of a love that began when they were young pre-teens to the tears that were shed by everyone from the momentous feelings that come from seeing your baby now become an adult and decide to spend the rest of their lives with their love it was a magical evening. Everyone had a wonderful time celebrating in their love, and I’m so grateful I was able to capture it!
