I’ve been reading less business books lately. So to get my act together here’s my deep dive business reading list for the rest 2020!
July: The Checklist Manifesto by Atul Gawande
You know I love a great to-do list, but this all about the power of having lists that you use to run your business. It helps you automate processes but also gives you something to check your work against so you don’t forget anything.
August: Sprint by Jake Knapp
I’m really excited Sprint. It’s all about tackling problems in business and shares a process of how to do it! There are always lots of challenges running a business this has been especially difficult when trying to run a business during a pandemic!
September: Indistractable by Nir Eyal
Just like the title sounds this one is all about being able to focus when it’s time to work. I’m always looking for new ways to make certain I’m able to use the time I have well. I’m so busy managing my family and my business that there’s always a ton to consider!
October: The Conversion Code by Chris Smith
Let me just say it…Sales is not my thing! I decided The Conversion Code would be a good book to read as I continue to focus on growing as a business owner for the rest of the year. I’m always happy to learn different ways to think about selling online! AND of course, I want to finish the year strong.
November: The One Thing by Gary Kellery & Jay Papasan
This is perfect for the Holiday season when I feel like I’m being pulled in a million different directions! In The One Thing the authors share the importance of focusing on what matters most to you!
December: Grit by Angela Duckworth
What really drives success? Here’s what we know. We don’t need to be a genius! It’s more about the consistent actions we take or at least that’s what this summary says ;) This book reminds me of Mindset by Carol Dwek!
